Volunteers are a very important part of the community. Volunteering your time to make a difference in the lives of others offers substantial personal rewards and satisfaction. How would you like to become involved?
Berkeley Citizens needs volunteers to help carry out our mission of providing individuals with lifelong developmental disabilities opportunities to develop and maintain productive, self-fulfilling lifestyles. We offer a variety of volunteer opportunities, both working directly with those we serve, and assisting "behind the scenes" in our administrative offices.
Volunteers can become a "buddy" to an individual or even an entire group home by helping with special holiday activities, regularly
taking someone to church, sponsoring or planning a party, or simply just stopping by their home for a visit. If you prefer to work "behind the scenes", we can customize your volunteer work to fit your schedule. There are many opportunities for individuals or organizations to become involved and share their time and talents.
