CTH 1
Community Training Homes 1 – Family under contract with Berkeley Citizens, Inc. who agrees to provide a home-like atmosphere and care for a non-related person having a disability.
CTH 2
Community Training Homes 2 – A home in the community for 3-4 residents needing 24 hour care and supervision, by agency staff, seven days per week.

Person Centered Planning – Designing a service plan using a team approach of family, friends, peers, staff, etc. that is based on the abilities and desires and goals of the individual and encourages choice in how needs are to be met.

Plan of Service – the results of the annual plan meeting that outlines the service needs of consumer
QMRP
Qualified Mental Retardation Specialist
SC
Service Coordinators – Staff advocating for, coordinating services and monitoring needs of individuals. SCDDSN South Carolina Department of Disabilities and Special Needs – State agency that contracts with Berkeley Citizens, Inc. to serve clients.
